Grant Scoring Criteria (NIH, 2015)
At the completion of the review process, principal investigators will receive a critique of their proposal with five criterion scores (i.e., significance, investigators, approach, innovation, environment) and a total score (not an average of the criterion scores). The following scoring criteria has been adopted from the National Institutes of Health (NIH, 2015).

Grant Agreement
If my proposal is approved for funding, I agree:
1. To expend funds as described in the proposal and return unused funds to the Treasurer of Gamma Tau at-Large Chapter.
2. To provide documentation of expenditures if requested and maintain records for 3 years.
3. To submit a progress report at the completion of the project. If the research is not finished by the projected completion date, the remaining funds will be returned to Gamma Tau at-Large Chapter. Under certain circumstances, extensions may be obtained from the Research Committee. A one-time extension may be approved, but the research must be completed at the end of that year or funds will need to be returned.
4. To present findings at the UCLA School of Nursing Research Day and /or the STTI Society Southern California Annual Joint Research and Education Conference (aka Odyssey Conference), either in poster or platform presentation.
5. To attend one of the Gamma Tau at-Large Chapter induction ceremonies to accept the award.
6. To acknowledge Gamma Tau-at-Large Chapter's support of the research study in any publication or presentation and to send Gamma Tau at-Large Research Committee a copy of the project abstract at the time of presentation at any conference. I will include the name, date, sponsor, and location of the conference.
7. To send one final copy of the completed project report with abstract to the Gamma Tau at-Large Research Committee.
8. To accept responsibility for the scientific conduct of the project if a grant is awarded because of this application.
9. To submit a mid-award progress report on June 15, 2023, and a final award report on December 1, 2023. A final report of this application is required 3 months after the project has ended and must be submitted to the Research Chair(s). A final report is required before any subsequent award will be made. If a project has not yet been completed and the principal investigator is applying for another STTI Gamma Tau at-Large grant, then a progress report of the previous grant is required prior to any current award being made. In any case, a report must be filed with the Research Chair(s) within 3 months from the end of the award, either a final report (if the project has ended) or a progress report (if the research is not yet complete). If the research is not finished by the projected completion date, the remaining funds will be returned to Gamma Tau at-Large Chapter.
10. To provide evidence of Human /Animal Subjects Protection before receipt of funds.
